We had a wonderful two days of school this week.
September 17th is Constitution Day; therefore, next week is Constitution Week. We are grateful for the Constitution, as it protects our fundamental liberties, establishes the rule of law, and empowers “We the People” to guide our republic.
Thank you to our PTO for their incredible support and for making Constitution Week fun, engaging, and patriotic.

The Spring 2027 Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation General Scholarship Application is now open and accepting applications!
Please direct students seeking scholarship opportunities to the Scholarship Manager portal: mcccdf.org/scholarship.
Here, they can submit one General Scholarship Application and be eligible for hundreds of scholarship opportunities. The application deadline is October 31st. We would appreciate your help in distributing the attached flyer to your students.
Scholarships are available to all students, regardless of their background, major, interests, financial need, or academic success. There are scholarship opportunities for everyone.

- Upload your birth certificate and photo ID
- Complete the Financial Responsibility Form
- Submit the Petition for Semester Overload (if enrolling in more than 18 Dual Enrollment credits in one semester)

PTO also offers a “snack shack” if a scholar forgets their lunch one day, make sure they have a few dollars to buy something in the auditorium. A BIG thanks to our PTO and our parent volunteers for making this possible!
On Dollars for Duds days, scholars are allowed to wear non-uniform clothing (INCLUDING JEANS) that meet Heritage Standards. $2.00 for shirt and $2.00 for pants/shorts. Wristbands purchased for participation must be worn on your scholar’s wrist throughout the day. Dollars for Duds is optional, and scholars do not have to participate. Money raised goes to support Scholar Council and the school activities and dances they support.
Heritage Standard means: no sleeveless or midriff shirts; shorts must be 4″ from the middle of the knee and skirts must come to the middle of the knee; no pants or shorts that are ripped, torn or frayed; no leggings; no inappropriate slogans or symbols on the clothing; and NO PAJAMAS, SLIPPERS or CROCS.
