Principal’s Message
To honor George Washington & Abraham Lincoln, who we celebrate next week:
When accepting command of the army, Washington stated, “ . . . I do not think myself equal to the command I am honored with.”
Lincoln believed, “I would rather be a little nobody, than to be an evil somebody.”
Both steered our country through wars.
Both felt inadequate, yet did their best to serve.
Both valued strong character and intentionally worked on their own.
Both are good examples for us.
It is hard to lead. Aren’t we grateful they stepped up?

We expect all 8th grade families to meet 1:1 with Mr. Brown, our college coach before Spring Break. He will provide a 4 year HS plan, help with dual enrollment/Rio Salado, and share tips for transitioning from middle school to high school. If this is your first time in dual enrollment, you’ll need to complete Step 1: Admissions to Rio Salado College.

Fill out the Petition for Semester Overload (if enrolling in more than 18 DE credits in one semester)
Tuition Assistance:
If you were approved for Tuition Assistance, I’ve already contacted Rio to enroll you.
For others who indicated interest in dual enrollment, I’ll be emailing Rio soon. Please watch for emails with tasks you may need to complete.
