Heritage Academy’s mission statement:

We are dedicated to youth, their growth and development, and believe in building sound character through strong families, strong communities, and a strong nation.

While teaching the academic disciplines, Heritage Academy is dedicated to instilling into the minds and hearts of our youth knowledge of and respect for the ideals and values of the great men and women of history, including those who founded the American nation.

As they gain an appreciation of these people of accomplishment, they will be ready to provide the selfless service to their fellow citizens and to their country which will be required in the coming years to assist in restoring America’s greatness.

Heritage Academy exists to this end.

Mr. Sam Allen

Our new Latin II teacher! He grew up in Mesa and graduated from BYU Provo in history with a minor in Portuguese. He eats anything Mexican and has four brothers (no sisters). Don’t bring a cat near Mr. Allen since he is allergic! He loves baseball and hopes to get full Roman armor to display in his classroom.

Ms. Hana Giauque (pronounced “juke”)

Our new Orchestra teacher! She is also an Arizona native and holds a Masters from Arizona State in Viola Performance. To find her favorite drink, you’ll need to travel to Hogwarts for Butter-beer. She has a menagerie of pets (3 dogs, 5 cats, and a bird named Almond). Her favorite color is purple which is also the official color of the viola!

Mr. Wayne Denton

Our new DE history teacher! He taught in New York prior to moving to Arizona. He is currently working on his PhD in American History. His favorite candy is Reese’s and loves the New York Giants.  He has three dogs (two Beagles and one Dachshund). Being in the outdoors hiking, playing softball, or traveling are places you’ll find him.
