We wanted to provide you an update on the impact of the Coronavirus on our school schedule. As we examine new information and assess how to best serve our scholars while keeping them safe, we have decided to change our approach for next week. Please see items below for more information.
Effective tomorrow: For one week, Mesa Scholars will move to a blended learning model on Google Classroom, Khan Academy, and other digital platforms. They should stay at home and not come to school. Heritage teachers will provide lessons on Google Classroom for one week with the plan to return to our regular schedule on March 23rd. More detailed instructions will follow this email, however most Heritage Scholars know their Google login credentials and use many online tools.
Students will receive a google classroom invite from their teachers tomorrow. This will direct them to where they can find their blended learning. Please have students check their school emails tomorrow afternoon for more information.
The music tours scheduled for this week have been cancelled.
All sports games have been suspended until at least March 30th.
Myhotlunchbox has been notified and will not deliver food to our campus this week. Credits will be automatically applied to your account if you had ordered food for this upcoming week.
We will continue to monitor the impact of the Coronavirus and adjust as needed. We appreciate the faith you put in our school to help educate your children.
