A NOTE FROM Mrs. Udall:

I never cease to be amazed at the talent here at Heritage!  The musical is fantastic and the art work should be in a gallery!  Thank you to the talented drama and stagecraft teams headed by Ms. Towne and Mr. Blau and to the artists in our midst, guided and mentored by Mr. Portilla and Ms. Patchett. There’s still time to see both tonight, tomorrow and Saturday.

Important information about caps and gowns! If you have not ordered one, see Mrs. Connelly at the front desk ASAP.  You can no longer order them from the Joston’s websiteDid you order one from Amazon? You must bring it in to the front desk and verify that the color is correct.  We’ve seen several that don’t meet the criteria.  Don’t wait, time is running out!

All-State Honor Festival of Performance for High School Musicians

These choir scholars participated in the 2024 All-State Honor Festival of Performance for High School Musicians in Tucson last weekend!! They had to go through a rigorous audition process to get into the All-State Choir, a prestigious choir of the top 200 singers in the state! They spent hours learning their music, and several more hours rehearsing at the festival. It concludes with an Honor Performance and our scholars did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!  Ms. Rost

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for the 2024-2025 school year:

Missed Open Enrollment deadline?  Not to worry! We are still accepting applications.  All submitted applications will be placed on the waitlist in the order they were received. Seats are being offered as they become available.

EXISTING SCHOLARS –  No action is required at this time.  Once the re-enrollment portal is available, a link will be sent out to all current scholars to complete the re-enrollment form to reserve their spot for next year.

NEW SCHOLARS  If you have friends or family members that do not currently attend Heritage but would like to join us next year…they will need to complete the full enrollment application.

Heritage siblings do receive a priority but need to submit a complete application.

We celebrated our 100th anniversary in 2020, and with our next 100 years of business in mind, we made it our goal to create a more streamlined, customized ecommerce platform to bring an ever-increasing level of service to our customers. Launching in 2021, our new site quickly became a uniform-industry-leading interface with fast checkout options, a wealth of helpful shopping information and a mobile-first design with many more features that cater to contemporary customers’ needs.

Seniors – don’t forget to schedule your senior 1-on-1 meeting with Mr. Brown.

Students applying to Arizona for fall 2024 will be automatically considered for the Wildcat Tuition Award. Merit scholarships are awarded based on the student’s core, unweighted high school GPA through the sixth semester.

Students must complete their fall 2024 admission application by May 1, 2024 to be considered for these awards. This is the final deadline for merit scholarships and will not be extended.

Placements are officially open! All incoming students are required to complete placements in Math, Second Language, and Writing. Placements help us ensure that students are enrolled in the best courses as they begin their academic journey. We encourage students to complete all placements at least two weeks prior to Orientation. Students can complete their placements and see more detailed information about each subject area in their Next Steps Center.

Students and their families are invited to join our financial aid experts for an upcoming virtual workshop. Students will learn more about aid opportunities and their options for funding their Arizona education. Additional information and registration is available at

Students can use our Net Price Calculator to help estimate their potential costs and aid. This is a fantastic tool as students await their financial aid offers – expected later this spring.

The Net Price Calculator is just one of the tools available to assist your students as they understand the cost of attendance. Financial aid offers will provide additional information about a student’s estimated cost of attendance. For students who have submitted their FAFSA, we anticipate that financial aid offers will be available in early to mid-April.

We know that paying for college can create a lot of questions for students. Arizona’s Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) has a variety of resources and events designed to support students in navigating financial wellness. Students can find videos about Scholarship Universe and recordings of previous workshops. OSFA also has a variety of upcoming events, like Bear Down & Wise Up and FAFSA Filing Workshops (in English & Spanish). And don’t forget to check out the 2024-2025 FAFSA Updates webpage for up to date information and FAFSA FAQs.

Welcome to 2024!  With the new year comes lots of developments in the world of college funding and planning. The FAFSA Simplification Act totally revamped the process of applying and qualifying for federal student aid. Simplification may not be an appropriate term; but what’s most important is that the form is now live on the FAFSA website. If you have a college bound student for the upcoming school year, you can (and should) access that form here. You can also utilize our new free Student Aid Index (previously known as the Expected Family Contribution) calculator on our website through this link.
