New 7th Grade Math Teacher!
We are thrilled to welcome our new 7th grade math teacher, Mr. Joshua Mortensen, a Heritage alumni. Mr. Mortensen will graduate from Arizona State University in Health Science this year. He loves math and has spent the last two years as a tutor and Center Director at Mathnasium. Outside of teaching math, Mr. Mortensen enjoys singing, writing music, and learning. He met his wife, Whitney Anderson, at Heritage. Mr. Mortensen can’t wait to share his love of learning and his passion for math with our 7th grade scholars.

TREATS FROM HS FACS!

Our high school Family and Consumer Sciences classes made rice crispy creations! This combines the ability to work as a team, divide the workload, execute an idea… and dare I say have a little fun?
Please know: not pictured was the clear stress when marshmallows were overcooked and things didn’t go as planned… also vital life skills… The ability to pivot and work with what you have or start again.
So proud of all our FACS scholars!

Interested in EVIT? Check out our Paul Revere Campus!

Heritage Academy offers an exceptional campus on EVIT grounds called Paul Revere Academy.  We have established an incredible partnership to allow scholars to enroll in EVIT programs the academic year they turn 16. For most, this means they can begin Career Technical Education (CTE) programs as sophomores (10th grade), and earn more than one technical certificate by graduation! Additionally, EVIT now offers pathways leading to Associate Degrees, providing even greater opportunities for your scholar!

Our location and flexible scheduling create a seamless educational experience where scholars can:

  • Complete core academic classes (ELA, Math, Science, History, and credit recovery)

  • Pursue specialized CTE courses at EVIT

This unique combination offers:

  • Small class sizes for personalized attention.

  • 55-minute focused learning sessions.

  • Sports and extracurricular opportunities.

  • Dual enrollment options for earning college credit at Paul Revere Academy and EVIT.

  • Workforce-ready skills upon graduation.

Scholars still benefit from a Monday–Thursday schedule, with EVIT classes adding a half-day on Fridays.

Discover how Paul Revere Academy can help your scholar achieve academic success and career readiness. Explore more:

For details about EVIT’s extensive technical training programs, visit www.evit.edu.

We look forward to welcoming you and answering your questions. Together, we’re building America’s heroes, one scholar at a time!
