Dear Heritage Academy Families,

We would like to share an important leadership update with our Heritage Academy community.

After many years of dedicated service to Heritage Academy, Mrs. Heidi Udall has announced her retirement at the end of this school year. Mrs. Udall has been an extraordinary leader and a cherished part of the Heritage Academy family. Throughout her years of service, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to our scholars, teachers, and families, helping to build a culture of academic excellence, character development, and community that defines Heritage Academy.

Her leadership, care for scholars, and tireless efforts have blessed our school in countless ways. We are profoundly grateful for the many years she has devoted to the Heritage mission and for the positive impact she has made on generations of scholars. Please join us in expressing our sincere appreciation and best wishes to Mrs. Udall as she begins this new chapter of retirement.

With this transition, we are pleased to share an exciting leadership announcement for the future of the Downtown Mesa campus.

We are delighted to announce that Ms. Eve Seaman has been appointed as the new Principal of Heritage Academy Mesa, beginning next school year. Ms. Seaman has been a valued member of the Heritage Academy community for several years and currently serves as the Assistant Principal at the Mesa campus. Her experience, dedication to scholars, and deep connection to the community make her an excellent choice to lead the Mesa campus.

Ms. Seaman has been working in the field of education for more than 20 years, with the most recent years spent serving the scholars and families of Heritage Academy. Throughout her time here, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, scholar support, and fostering a positive and engaging school culture.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Arizona State University and later completed her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (K–12 Principal) from Northern Arizona University. Her training and experience in both special education and school leadership have equipped her with a thoughtful and student-centered approach to education.

Ms. Seaman was born and raised in Mesa and has had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world—experiences that have strengthened her appreciation for this country and the opportunities it provides. Coming from a family with a father who served as a Marine and a mother who was raised on a farm in Wyoming, she carries a deep love for America and a strong sense of service and commitment.

She is passionate about working alongside outstanding teachers and supporting scholars as they grow academically and in character. Her leadership style reflects the mission and values of Heritage Academy, and we are confident she will continue to strengthen the culture of excellence on the Mesa campus.

Please join us in expressing our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Udall for her remarkable service and in congratulating Ms. Seaman as she steps into this important leadership role.

Thank you for your continued support of our scholars and the mission of Heritage Academy.

Warm regards,
